Friends, it’s almost 2018!
Although my family made some very positive, purposeful decisions during 2017 (more on this soon!), I’m even more excited as I look forward to 2018! I have some personal goals to work toward and one of them is to read through the Bible again.
If you’re anything like me, each New Year, you consider whether you’ll participate in a Bible reading program, with the intention of reading through the entire Bible in one year. To be honest, some years I do, and some years I don’t.
For example, in 2017, I read a passage of Scripture every day as part of my daily devotional routine, but I didn’t follow a specific plan. In other past years, I’ve done varying types of reading plans. For example, one year I read through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, while another year I chose a chronological reading plan.
This year, I’m planning on reading through the Bible using a “one chapter per day” plan. It covers highlights from the Old Testament and the entire New Testament. I’m hopeful that this plan will help me focus more deeply on what I read and take it with me throughout my daily activities.
If you’re interested in following this type of plan, I formatted it onto 12 printable monthly bookmarks. Each bookmark has a month’s dates and corresponding chapters on it, so it’s easy to print and keep in your Bible to help keep your place each day.
The bookmarks are free and will be delivered to your email inbox! If you’d like a set, please just fill in this form and I’ll send them your way!
I pray that you’ll find this handy resource beneficial to your spiritual goals in 2018!
